Do you want to know more about Bunker Hill, our facilities and our passion for providing a magical preschool experience?

We offer tours the first two Saturdays of the month so you can come and see our school, hear about our program, speak with one of our Board Members and get all of your questions answered.  Please use the form below to schedule a tour that works for you and your family.

When touring our school there are a few things to keep in mind:

COVID. We welcome families and their children to tour our campus. In line with local and CDC guidelines, all visitors 2 and older attending the tour and will be required to wear a mask at all times. To optimize safety, the bulk of the tour will be held outdoors.

We are a volunteer run organization. Bunker Hill Parent Participation Nursery School is run by parents. This means that in between feeding, clothing, cleaning, working at the office and commuting, our families answer emails, pay school utility bills, handle licensing and work on keeping our classes full and happy.

We are REALLY into letting our children play. We practice an emergent, play-based curriculum, which means that the teachers and parents in the classroom pay close attention to the interests of the children in order to support learning. Students have free reign of the classroom spaces, while working family members stay at assigned locations to supervise the children. All of this is to say: children rule our school. We work hard to make Bunker Hill a comfortable, safe place for children to explore.

In order to maintain the unpredictably predictable learning environment beloved by students and parents alike, we do not provide tours of classes in session. Children are our priority, and in the past we have found tours too disruptive to our classes.  If you are interested in seeing the school in action, we have videos and photos on our website.

We love our school, and we know you will, too! Please let us know if you have any questions. Bunker Hill is a community where families work together to raise compassionate, curious children. We can’t wait to welcome you to our school.
